Recently, Canadian manufacturer Arc’teryx has expanded its collection of mountain hardshell jackets with a new sturdy and waterproof Beta SV Jacket designed for severe weather condition. It is one of the most durable, wear-resistant and protected jackets in the hardshell jacket series.
The Beta SV Jacket is almost completely made of free-layer Gore-Tex Pro membrane material. The outer layer uses wear-resistant nylon with 80 denier density. The jacket has further been processed with the water-repellent treatment. The outer layer of the coat includes waterproof and vapor-permeable membrane and a layer of laminated polymer pads.
The jacket can endure various backpacks, suspension systems, and other security straps. It also takes into account multiple layers of insulation clothes to be worn outside.
The design provides sizeable adjustable hood with high storm collar, understated back with volume adjustments on the bottom edge, the central zip fastener, shaped sleeves with ventilation flaps and adjustable cuffs, as well as five different pockets.
Arc’teryx Beta SV Jacket is offered in four monochromatic colors (Black, Macaw, Magma, Nautic Gray) and is estimated at $650.
