Buffalo Tent has been invented by outdoor enthusiast Barrett Lyon, who was searching for perfect shelter for festivals like Burning Man. The tent needed to withstand wind, snow, heat and other weather conditions, offering extreme comfort. He has developed Buffalo Tent during two years of extensive research and development.
The tent comes in two versions, Mini model, which fits 8 people and a larger version, which can fit up to 16 people. The tents are made using military-grade materials. The poles are made of carbon fiber coated with nylon ripstop and water repellant thread. The construction uses a unique aluminium frame that can easily be installed. It supports up to 250 pounds of weight. The tents do not use any interior poles. Therefore, there is lots of free extra space. The Buffalo tent has been tested for resistance to winds. It can resist wind of 60 mph strength.
The mini version of Buffalo tent weighs only 30 pounds, while the larger version weighs 44 pounds. Speaking of price, the mini version costs $875, while larger versions carries a price tag of $1499.
