Casio has announced a new series of wrist quartz chronographs under the trade name – Edifice EQB-800. The new watch is designed for motorsport activities. It is made with the recommendations of professional Japanese racers and has the almost identical functionality to the previously presented Edifice EQB-501 model.
Edifice EQB-800 series feature a steel adjustable bracelet and a stainless steel case with a steel bezel of blue color. It has a sapphire crystal and a practically black dial with combined marks and arrows. The maximum diameter of the body does not exceed 54 mm; the thickness is slightly more than 13 mm, the weight of the watch is 199 grams. The total hermeticity of the housing corresponds to the parameter 10 Bar (100 m).
The watch has a Bluetooth module, which allows you to quickly and efficiently synchronize time and available information with a smartphone using the CASIO WATCH + application. The Edifice EQB-800 chronograph also includes Tough Solar technology. Additionally, there is a world time feature with the ability to display the current time in two time zones simultaneously. Besides, there is an automatic calendar (Day and day of the week), alarm clock, battery indicator, tachymeter and stopwatch (there is the possibility of cutting circles).
Chronograph Casio Edifice EQB-800 is available in the original stylized packaging. The future price and date of the beginning of sales of the presented gadget are not specified yet.
