On Running has announced a new line of Cloudventure running shoes for 2016 fall and winter season. The product positions itself as a shoe for active downhill running and climbing activities.
The upper part of the shoes are made in two layers. The inner layer is made of stretchable “sock” soft material and an outer layer is wrapped with engineered mesh material with water-repellent DWR coating applied. The lacing is done in a diagonal line and allows the freedom of foot’s movements.
The sole is made of micro-engineered rubber and provides four levels of sole grips for running comfortable on the trails. It uses CloudTec cushioning which works both in hard and soft surfaces. It has 11 individual ports that stretch back upon impact and make running much easier in various downhill running conditions. The insole contains a breathable fabric lining and a removable EVA foam.
The sneakers can be purchased from amazon for $160.
