Knight’s Armament Company (KAC) announced the launch of a new exclusive knife with a fixed blade. The knife is manufactured in collaboration with the American company Emerson Knives, and it is based on model Government Mule by Emerson Knives. The new knife has a trade name of Government Tanto Mule.
The blade is made of the same materials as the base model, with a sharpened blade fixed blade tanto type made from 154CM stainless steel grade. The hardness steel of the steel makes 57-59 HRC. The handle of the knife is made from dense patch of completely black Micarta material. It is then decorated with anti-skid texture characteristic of the KAC.
Overall dimensions Model Knight’s / Emerson Government Tanto Mule also practically do not differ from the basic version of the knife. The total length is slightly more than 259 mm, length of blade about 122 mm, handle length 137 mm, maximum thickness of the blade at the butt almost 4.45 mm. The total weight of the new model, unfortunately, is not specified.
Presented knife Knight’s / Emerson Government Tanto Mule will be available in limited edition copies, the exact number is still unknown. The recommended retail price is $325. The knife includes universal combined sheath of thermoplastic Kydex and ballistic nylon.
