The Japanese watch brand Casio has recently introduced two more new wristwatches from the specialized G-Steel line, namely the GST-W300 and GST-W310. The presented models derive from the GST-W110 series, developed in summer 2015. The main difference that we have noticed is in the size of the case.
The new versions of GST-W300 series include several models: GST-W300-1A, GST-W300BD-1A, GST-W300G-1A2, GST-W300G-1A9. The GST-W310 series include one model – GST-W310D-1A.
The watches differ from each other only in color and bezel material. All GST-W300 series watches combine polyurethane outer layer with a rubber seal, whereas in GST-W310 the outer layer of the bezel is made of steel and with a dense layer of polyurethane seal.
Besides, the case of both series is made of stainless steel and plastic with water resistance mark is up to 20 Bar. The series feature impact-resistant mineral glass with anti-reflective treatment.
As for the dimensions, the maximum diameter of the case makes up almost 56 mm, which is approximately 3 mm less than other models of the G-Steel line, including the GST-W110. The thickness of the case is also reduced to 15.3 mm. The weight of the clock varies from 84 to 183 grams.
Coming to the functionality, the new models are no different from the GST-W110. Likewise, the series feature Tough Solar Multi-Band 6 technology, world time functions with 31 time zones and the ability to display time in 12/24-hour format. There are also an automatic calendar, countdown timer, stopwatch and five independent alarms. If you want to work in the dark, the watch provides the fluorescent coating with two white LEDs.
Both Casio G-Steel GST-W300 and Casio G-Steel GST-W310 wristwatches should approximately appear at retail at the end of spring this year. According to preliminary data, the cost will vary from $ 290 to $ 330. The most expensive one will be the GST-W310Ds-1A model.
