The British brand Montane is preparing a new hybrid Quattro Fusion Jacket for winter of 2017-2018. The jacket is best suitable for wearing in mountains while hiking, skiing or picnicking. The jacket features a high level of protection from wind and moisture being a comfortable jacket to wear for flexible movements.
The outer layer of the jacket is made of two types of water-resistant nylon materials: Pertex Quantum and Pertex Quantum Pro Diamond Fuse. The latter forms a channel for positioning the heat insulating filler. HyperDRY Down (natural goose down c repellent processing) has been used as an insulating filler. The lining of the jacket is made mainly of soft Polartec Alpha Direct fleece material.
The Quattro Fusion Jacket features an adjustable hood, which is compatible with most modern helmets, high storm collar, profiled insulated sleeves with elastic cuffs, central zip with two-sided zippers and safety valve inside. There are only three pockets – two pockets for warming your hands and one pocket of general purpose on the chest. All pockets are zippered.
First retail sales of new insulated Montane Quattro Fusion Jacket should start closer to the winter 2017-2018. The retail price has not been yet disclosed.
