The North Face Has Started the Sales of New Alpine Backpack – Adder 40


Earlier this week, the North Face has opened the sales of a new model of alpine backpacks – Adder 40.

The bag stands out with its carefully designed comfortable suspension system, and less and yet more comfortable capacity of the backpack – 40L. This backpack was released for experienced people who will know what to take to hiking mountain trips and therefore, who, can pack minimum and necessary stuff.

The Adder 40 backpack is available in two sizes S / M and L / X. Overall dimensions of the basic version is 48 cm (19  inch in height, 34 cm (13.5 inch) in width and 20 cm(8-inch) in thickness. The enlarged model reaches 53 cm(21-inch) in height, 34 cm(13.5 inch) in width and 22 cm(9 inch) in thickness. The weight of an empty packs are 1,276 grams (2 lbs 13 oz)for a small one and 1,332 grams (2 lbs 15 oz),  for a big one respectively. The smaller option is suitable for users with a torso length of 40-54 cm(16 inch), the second 71-106 cm(21 inch).

It is made of two main materials 420D nylon and 420 Cordura. The bag and inner part of the shoulder straps together with hip straps are made of a thin and soft material that have a flexible foam inserts inside.

The backpack has the main compartment with a top loading. Apart from that, there is a front pocket and a couple of side pockets. There is a hydration sleeve, a relatively small compression separation valve. It also provides extra rain cover and lots of space on the compression straps in order to attach your gear.

Regardless of the size of the selection, the new climbing backpack is estimated at The North Face Adder 40 is estimated by the manufacturer within the limits of 190 dollars.
