Soon, Leatherman is going to introduce a new series of Skeletool KB folding pocket knives which derives from recent Skeletool multi-tool series. In total, the series will include Skeletool KB and Skeletool KBx, each of which will be available in four color options of the handle. Both knives have a folding structure.
Skeletool KB and Skeletool KBx differ only in the presence of the partially serrated sharpening in Skeletool KBx model. The blade of both models is made of stainless steel 420HC, the hardness of the steel used does not exceed 55-59 HRC.
The handle is made of combined materials, mainly using the steel and aluminum. There is a detachable steel clip with an integrated bottle opener.
You can extract the blade of both knives using the thumb holes provided. It is easy to fix the blade in an open position using the classic Liner-Lock type, common for all Leathermen models.
The official start the sales is scheduled for early June 2017. The recommended retail price is $ 25.
