TerraNova Equipment Launched Lightweight Tents with Tiny Packing Size


In the early spring of 2017, the British company Terra Nova Equipment will launch a new series of lightweight hiking tents under the trade name – Starlite. The new series of tents have been developed as the most compact and lightweight equipment for usage in cycling. The series include three models Starlite 1, Starlite Starlite 2 and 3, which is regarded as as single, double and triple dual layer tents for three seasonal use.

The tents are made of identical materials. Outer part and the bottom is made of rip-stop nylon with a double-sided silicone treatment. The average water resistance is not higher than 6000 mm ID. Art. The inner layer is made of a less dense polyester material without water repellent treatment and ventilation mesh inserts. As the lightweight aluminum frame has been used to form an arc DAC, the maximum length of which does not exceed 29 cm when folded.

Structurally, Starlite 1 and 2 tents do not differ from each other whereas Starlite 3 is complemented by a separate vestibule for increased space and opportunity of placing the bike and necessary equipment. Packaged length of all the tents, regardless of the model, does not exceed 29 cm, the maximum diameter is not specified.

Terra Nova Starlite sales should begin in the spring of 2017, the recommended retail price will range from 400 to 650 dollars per set excluding delivery.
